Quality Policy

STATEMENT OF POLICY AND AUTHORITY

The management of PROTEC ARISAWA AMERICA, Inc. (PAA) is committed to adhering to all the requirements of Section X of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and supporting references. This Quality Manual and its jurisdiction requirements shall be utilized in the manufacture of Filament-Wound (FW) Class I, Fiber Reinforced Plastic Pressure Vessels (FRP) at this location only.

The Quality Manager is responsible for the revision, updates, and issuance of this Quality Manual; and the administration and implementation of the Quality System. The Quality Manager has the authority and organizational freedom to identify quality control problems and to initiate, recommend, provide solutions, implement policy and procedures, and manage Quality enhancements to production. All PAA personnel have the responsibility to assist in identification of potential problems and communicate with the Production Manager and Quality Manager on possible recommendations to facility and product improvement.

To achieve customer satisfaction PAA is committed to:

• Supplying defect-free products by following all manufacturing/process work instructions and ensuring that all product requirements are always met.
• Ensure that all documentation provided is 100% complete and correct.
• Being involved and proactive with product/process quality.
• Continuous improvement of products and processes.

In the event of disagreement pertaining to the Quality System, which cannot be resolved by the Quality Manager, the problem shall be brought to the Authorized Inspector for evaluation and resolution. Outcome resolution shall not negate the requirements of the ASME Code, Jurisdiction, or this Quality Manual.
